Will Crystal Lake

I have a 98 Mercury Sable, and the passenger side front seat belt works intermittently. When you try to pull it down from the retracted position it act's like it is locked and wont release. Then at other times it releases and works fine.

Answer:
Auto Tech

The seat belt retractor assembly has been contaminated by either dirt or something sticky. You can try spraying the assembly with wd40 or simply replace it.
